About Black Swamp Community Orchestra: Founded in 2004 as a string quartet by local music educator Nancy S. Davis, the Black Swamp Community Orchestra has grown into a vibrant, volunteer-based ensemble serving Northwest Ohio. The BSCO brings together music teachers, students, and community musicians of all ages—from schoolchildren to seasoned professionals—to share a love of orchestral music. This unique intergenerational collaboration provides a one-of-a-kind musical experience for performers and audiences alike.
