DIRECTOR OF TINORA PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

Ryan Mays

Ryan Mays is a northwest Ohio native, and graduate of Patrick Henry, but now proudly calls himself a Ram! He brings to the PAC a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from Columbus State University of Columbus Georgia, and both professional and academic credits from The Carolina Opry, The Georgia Theatre Conference, The Toledo Repertoire Theatre, The Franciscian Center of Lourdes College, Summerstock at The University of Findlay, and locally with The Defiance College. While also serving as a 7th & 8th grade paraprofessional in our middle school, Ryan also works with our Tinora performing arts department, accompanying musical activities and served as scenic designer for the acclaimed production of “Fiddler on the Roof.” He will also be directing our Spring musical productions beginning with the 2024-2025 season!

As the new Director of the Tinora Performing Arts Center, he is excited to foster diverse integration of Performing Arts Center offerings and activities within the academic and artistic life of our students, and looks forward to working with our fantastic team to develop exciting programming for the Tinora community and our region.

When not in or around a theater, Ryan enjoys making music at the piano or organ, church activities, spontaneous road trips, finding offbeat eateries, scuba diving, spending time with his family and nephews, and exploring off-beat Ohio and the Hocking Hills with loved ones.
